Facing Foreclosure? Act now before modification program ends!

FORECLOSURE MODIFICATION PROGRAM ENDING SOON! ACT NOW TO TRY AND SAVE YOUR HOME!

If you or someone you know is facing foreclosure, the time to act is now.  The HAMP program (Home Affordable Modification Program) is set to come to an end at the end of this year, 2016.

HAMP was created and designed to offer alternatives to homeowners facing foreclosure, including short sales, deed in lieu, and (the most popular) loan modifications.  The HAMP program was managed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Congress (as of the date of this writing) has not passed any measure authorizing the extension of this program.  This means that, unless you have a full package submitted on or before December 31, 2016, you will not be able to attempt to obtain a loan modification under this program.  (While lenders may offer comparable programs or alternatives, the modification offering under HAMP will no longer be available.)

Do not delay!  There are still many homeowners, especially in the NYC area, that are facing foreclosure.  Contact LORK before it’s too late.  See whether you can apply for a loan modification or, if not, any other alternatives (including bankruptcy) may be available.  Take action before the opportunity to save your home passes!  Contact LORK today!
